One thing I have never thought of in my life was to live right on the beach. Still, wherever I go I always look for places with beautiful beaches and turquoise waters. The most beautiful events of my life were celebrated on the beach. In two words, I am “beach bound” for life, I guess, and I am grateful for this. That’s why, a lot of my photographs are on the beach, my favourite place. Of course, I love the vibe and the craziness of the big cities and a lot of times I feel the need to experience and live the big city life, but at the end of the day, my thoughts and my desires take me to the beach, where my home is.
Admiring the peace and loneliness of the beach during these cold days is a source of inspiration and calmness for my mind and soul. There is something special about it because all you can hear is just the wind and the sound of the waves. Solitude. Tranquility. Beauty.
I know that a lot of people are scared of the word “solitude” or “loneliness” and even more they are scared of practicing it. In my opinion, we all need these moments, as a lot of times they do have cathartic properties. A moment with yourself in the midst of the nature, helps ordering your thoughts, improve your feelings, make new dreams, even taking better decisions. The biggest artists and writers of the world, were solitaire people. Even a solitaire diamond, is the most precious and most expensive one.
I totally enjoy being surrounded by people, by friends and acquaintances. I love company, but at the same time, I need my moments and it’s during these moments that I am the most productive and thorough. The bottom line is that we all come in this world and leave it, alone.
Have a wonderful day,
