I yearned for visiting this fantastic city for some time. Finally, I got the chance to be there, to feel it, to admire it! It’s an old city with a very old history, but everything seems so alive, so full of vitality, so interesting, attractive, impressive, stunning! I guess that the fervent life of Barcelona can accommodate any person with any kind of taste! I could live there and probably would never get bored because there is a little bit of everything. I love its large, huge piazzas (squares), the imposing buildings, magnificent monuments, spectacular shops, incredible food, and of course, the best sangria!
I spent plenty of time in Barcelona, visited almost all the touristic places, but one that appeared the most magnificent was the Museu National D’Art de Catalunya. The museum itself is absolutely breathtaking, hosting hundreds of pieces form the medieval age. The architecture is divine and if you are in Barcelona, you surely have to dedicate an entire day to this gorgeous place. It’s just mesmerizing when you are there and it makes you dream about…beauty. The views are pretty striking form any point and before you get there, just make sure you got enough memory space on your camera! Oh, and make sure you are wearing some comfy shoes, as there is a lot of walking. I didn’t mind to walk, as my enthusiasm was filling me with so much energy, that I didn’t get tired. I never get tired when I know I am in a place I was dreaming about. I envy those people that live in Barcelona for their opportunity to just have a stroll in such a beautiful place, anytime they want.
I cannot wait to go back. Yes, Barcelona is one of those cities where I would go back again and again. It’s just something in the air there. Something that is very youthful and full of spirit, dynamism, and sparkle!
