I am pretty sure that all the fashionistas out there love autumn! It’s such a fun season from a fashion point of view, as one can mix so many things of different textures and just create a gorgeous outfit. The weather permits that as it’s not too hot or too cold. Also, for me, fall is the most comfortable of all and I especially like it when it lasts as long as possible, like in South Carolina! Here we got long falls, so, I got plenty of time to experiment different fall outfits and colors. While I am into the typical fall colors, like burnt orange and maple red, this time I kind of took another direction: PASTELS.
Delicate hues of lavender, baby blue and pink for fall? Yes, please! They don’t belong exclusively to the spring anymore, adding luxury and softness to a fall outfit. It’s a very interesting shift, as the pastel colors were never considered a “cold weather” typical tone. But, it’s all about balance and contrast. The pastels will glamorize your fall, when being mixed with black, cognac, wine, forest green, brown colors. I love this baby blue faux leather H&M skirt. It’s so fun to wear and so atypical for fall. I would always wear it with black or dark orange, so the skirt gets noticed and especially this beautiful and tranquil blue.
If wearing bright colors for fall is not your thing, but still you want to try this trend, just accessorize. You can always combine a darker autumn outfit with a camel bag, nails, shoes, etc. The bright hue will add sophistication and style to any outfit.
Also, this autumn, I am extremely excited by the faux fur pieces, velvet touch, and over – the – knew boots. But, about all these in another post!
Wishing you all a super happy weekend! Happy shopping!
Thank you for stopping by!
