HAPPY INSIDE AND BEAUTIFUL ON THE OUTSIDE
There are so many self-help books about happiness and beauty. Do we really need to read all of them in order to find an answer? I’d say happiness is a state of mind, body, and soul present within each and everyone of us. Sometimes we just have to stop and take a breath. Look around us and count all the blessings. But not the blessings in terms of what we have materially, because these come and go and, in the end, they are without any real substance. The more we have, the more we want. That is inherent to the human nature. Often, when a scent of sadness or a lack of fulfillment is lingering around me, I open the window or get outside and admire the sun, the blue sky, the birds’ songs, the overall peace that surrounds me. That’s the energy I need. That is what inspires me and puts a smile on my face. Living in communion with nature, with confidence in God, in your family, yourself and having some valuable pillars that would define every step you make and to which you would return for inspiration and advice, this is what I call real happiness. Also, loosing the fear of being wrong, loosing your doubts and doing whatever your heart desires, but choosing wisely and always thinking of the outcomes.
Being confident makes you happy inside and out. Being confident and happy is reflected in your eyes, on your face, your voice, your entire demeanor. I often noticed that no matter how good a may look, how beautiful and glamorous my outfits could be, if I am sad, unhappy, or really mad, or moody inside, that would reflect in every single photo of me. Usually, I will not like those pictures and I will have to retake them. Our emotions and well being, as well as the opposite is reflected and contained in every single cell of our body. One cannot suppress an overall sense of happiness and vice versa. Our eyes are the windows to our souls, to our inner being. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and before anybody can see you beautiful, you have to perceive you as beautiful as you can be. This often entails to replace your inner dialogue with empowering thoughts and confident messages.
