Fashion, Simply Stylist

One of my favorite activities of life is reading books. When I don’t read books, I like to read people. People inspire, humans motivate one another in unique, unfathomable ways,  and that’s the beauty of our daily interactions, our connections and disconnections. Getting out from your comfort zone can be frustrating, but going out there and meeting people, can be the jackpot of your life, because you never know who you will meet and where that newly formed relationship can take you.

“We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men; and among those fibers, as sympathetic threads, our actions run as causes, and they come back to us as effects.”

/Herman Melville/

It’s a mystery and  it’s just up to us to discover it and to keep the interest alive. If you didn’t read my previous posts about Simply Stylist Conference in NYC, I am inviting you to read “A Day With Simply Stylist NYC 2016” and “One Year Into Fashion”.

After numerous interviews and panel discussions with some of the most influential people in the American fashion industry and not only, here is a quick summary in 17 quotes, that I put together and are worth hanging on a big poster in my beloved blue Ocean Jewels Office. The quotes are “action buttons” for all those who have a blog, or a business, or a website and need a bit of food for thought!
